Thank You!!!

Hello Everyone!

Whew! All of the official Wedding Maddness has officially ended (aside from our honeymoon... which will probably be a cruise to the carribean also) and it is so amazing to say WE ARE SO HAPPY TO FINALLY BE MARRIED! It is truly everything we dreamed and more, and we are just beginning our journey. We are so happy and thankful to our families, all of you for being a part of our lives most of all, and secondly for all your contributions, gifts, hard work, and warm wishes that really made this a once in a lifetime event. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Belize was an amazing tropical paradise with an unspoiled lush beauty... It was the perfect place for us to show the perfect expression of our love and unity as one to each other, our family, and to the world. The warm Caribbean waters seemed to have calm whispering waves compared to our roaring pacific coast... and the waters down there sparkled turquoise and light aqua blue. 24 miles off the main coast, at the small island of Silk Cayes we went snorkeling on the reef and swam with Sting Rays, Spotted Eagle Rays, Nurse Sharks, and Loggerhead Turtles (some of which could have been close to 200 years old). There were a few different types of tropical fish which were seen, each very unique and interesting, to name a couple: parrot fish, christmas fish, among others, and 3 barracudas were spotted during our snorkel as well. We also watched a juvenile lemon shark swim in the shallows from the shore while listening to the hundreds of 'laughing birds' who were nesting at the neighboring tiny island. To our surprise, there were also non-stinging jellyfish during the snorkeling trip... unlike the shores just off the resort's beach. (We found out the first day when Lindsay got stung on the arm ...by the end of the day we were laughing about it, no worries!) Brent, Uncle Mark, and a few others decided to go swimming with the jellies before leaving Chabil Mar also, the water was so clear at the end of the trip, we could see them swimming all around the pier. The second trip we took was the day before the Wedding. We went on a Jungle hiking tour in Belize's Jaguar Preserve, where we saw a ton of interesting tropical rain forest plants and creatures.... Leaf cutter ants (and their massive soldier ants), wild Tarantulas the size of an adult hand, some hungry Piranhas in the river, a few colorful native birds, a tiny poisonous coral snake was spotted and quickly hid under the debris on the forest floor, and two in our group may have even heard a jaguar growl from afar in the trees. (Luckily they sleep though the day and avoid people very, very well.) We went tubing down the river for what seemed like an hour, avoiding stinging vines hanging off to the sides in some parts, some saw extremely large spiders hunting along the river's rocks and logs... and we saw so many yellow butterflies they were literally everywhere around us. There must have been 3,000 of them! (we got a good video of them too, which we will upload online and get a link set up sometime soon.) And last but not least, we hiked to a cool pond in the deep Jungle and we swam beneath the 15 foot waterfall. (Again, we will get some pics up, we just can't wait to share with you all some of these amazing experiences we had on our wedding/vacation trip.)

We had a brilliantly planned, beautifully unique, extraordinary wedding, it was more than we could have ever imagined. it's hard to put it in words. Our wedding video and photography will be in our possession sometime soon (this month). Our wedding Minister, Minister Ramsey did a wonderful ceremony for us. It took a little over a half an hour, with the Butterfly release and all documents being signed. We can't wait to see and share these memories with everyone, This site will be open to view until the end of October, and we will have a few more updates with Wedding memories and pictures. Chabil Mar was a wonderful host for our Wedding, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. The food was spectacular. The band stayed for a whole extra hour playing so many good songs, and we danced until it was dark out, then jumped in the pool, then danced some more. The last couple days were spent hanging out in Placencia Village, and really taking it all in.

For all of you who were down there celebrating with us, Thank you for the amazing memories, we can never repay you! And for all of you who couldn't be there, We love you so much, we wish you could have been there, and Thank you for all you for all of your wedding wishes and gifts! Everything is so nice, and we are so spoiled. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

With Love from the Newlyweds!

Brent and Lindsay Allen
